Asthma is basically the narrowing caused by inflammation of the respiratory tract, sometimes it is due to environmental factors and fatigue. If you are suffering from asthma it doesn't mean that you should avoid exercise, in fact some physical activities like swimming could  even help you to manage your asthma. Many studies have revealed that swimming is able to reduce severe asthma attacks, although there are no claims by professionals that swimming can cure asthma. A clinical survey have reported that asthmatic children who are involved in a consistent swimming program showed improvement  and their asthma attacks have lessened.

A healthy lifestyle and a proper exercise are important factors in dealing with your health issues. Swimming can be a good exercise to people suffering from asthma. It could help them develop good breathing practice and strengthen their lungs. However recent research indicated that chlorine in the pool could trigger asthma, this is a caution for people using indoor swimming pool, if you have asthma try to avoid chlorine as much as possible, the beach is still the best place for swimming. Nonetheless, swimming is promoted as a good exercise for people with asthma.
